This performer known as D4vd has been named as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who disappeared and was later located deceased inside the musician's Tesla vehicle earlier this year, based on law enforcement.

Finding of the Deceased

This decomposed remains of Rivas, aged fifteen, was located in September inside the front trunk of a ebony Tesla linked to D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. The automobile had been cited in a Hollywood Hills and afterwards seized at a vehicle storage facility in the metropolitan area.

Chronology of Occurrences

Police suspect that Rivas probably died in the spring, adding that D4vd had apparently assisted in cutting up and discarding the body. The artist has not been cooperative in the probe, as stated by a police source.

This young girl Rivas was initially declared missing from Lake Elsinore in spring 2024. Her corpse was later located in the artist's Tesla after employees at the impound facility alerted a foul smell originating from the vehicle.

Investigation and Formal Statements

The reason for demise has not yet been identified, but the coroner's office commented that Rivas “appears to have been dead inside the automobile for an extended period before being found.” Authorities are viewing her death as a homicide.

Background on the Artist

This Houston singer had been issued a violation in the Hollywood area just eleven days before Rivas was located in the car, after exceeding the three-day parking limit. Neighbors in the area reported that the Tesla had been parked in the neighborhood for more than 30 days.

Celeste's brother stated that the household was knowledgeable that Rivas was acquainted with the singer and that she was traveling to attend a cinema with him just before she disappeared.

D4vd, spoken as “David,” is a New York-born artist known for the popular songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” The artist and his representative were residing at a Southern California residence in the Los Angeles neighborhood in September, per the residence's owner, until authorities searched the property.

D4vd has signed with music companies. D4vd was traveling for performances at the time Rivas's remains were found, but cancelled those shows after the discovery of Rivas's remains.
