On Monday, the tribunal was told call records and data obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test over the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a trip in Portugal - is considered the most covered investigations and continues to be unresolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

One phone message, presented in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm fat and unattractive like Madeleine was, but I know what I know."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "Suppose there is a slight possibility that I'm her? What then? Is that not important for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a life here in Poland, I just want to understand," the message continued.

The tribunal was advised that through electronic messages, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a attempt to display a similarity to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with law enforcement who collated the data, informed the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted family friends of the McCanns, based on the call data.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "a wrong number."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone saying "I will continue and I plan to establish my position."

The court learned Mrs Spragg struck up a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt preceding assisting her on a trip to the McCanns' property in that area in December 2024.

Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had contacted via messaging service to Mrs McCann to say the news outlets had depicted Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the period leading up to the trip to Rothley, the county, in last December.

The court heard communications between the two accused, in that autumn, planning attempting to get Mrs McCann's genetic material from her trash or from silverware at a restaurant.

"We must make a stand," Mrs Spragg advised Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the trip to their home, the defendant dispatched a text which said: "We find ourselves positioned outside the McCanns' residence with our vehicle dark resembling investigators. I had hoped to achieve this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
